Bienvenue. Welcome.¶
Still deciding on what this space is going to be. Trying to make some time to
write. Docs about my homelab setup and other tech/geek shenanigans is likely.
I've always been side-questing to learn something new, had to troubleshoot along the way, fix issues, and then just move on to the next thing to do. I didn't spend time documenting or writing about what I'd been messing around with. Naturally, I end up forgetting things I've done fairly quickly, especially if the focus was just to get it to work so that the next thing can begin.
All that could have been useful knowledge to keep around and share. Writing with the intent of making the content publicly accessible puts an emphasis on keeping your article clear and concise.
Better late than never.
baryonic.dev¶
Baryonic (adj.): relating to or denoting the normal, visible matter in the universe, as opposed to the mysterious dark matter that remains unseen.
The inspiration behind this domain name comes from Scott Hanselman's post about Dark Matter Developers, written in 2012, as well as his great podcasts in which he often recommends blogging even if the content is unfinished.
